US President Donald Trump says he would not have released five people detained in the UK over an alleged plot targeting a US-used airbase.⁣
⁣
Trump said the case “might be” connected to Iran but declined to provide further details, saying he knew the answer but would rather not disclose it.⁣
⁣
British police said the five British men were arrested over an apparent plot to attack RAF Fairford, which houses US bombers.⁣
