Just hours before a meeting between US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, the Kremlin said there are still no grounds for peace talks with Ukraine. ⁣
⁣
Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said Russia remained open to talks and that "Zelenskyy, if he wishes, may come to Moscow".⁣
⁣
The Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly said that a meeting in Moscow would not be acceptable and have proposed holding direct talks in a neutral country.⁣
