Day 20. Over 900 Miles. Our Stroke Across America riders continued their journey to Dillon, MT, a year ago today. Beautiful mountain views and hills(!) surrounded the team as they made their way through Montana toward Idaho and Wyoming.

Spreading awareness about stroke & aphasia was our key mission of the journey. Did you know that up to 40% of stroke survivors acquire #aphasia? Aphasia is a language disorder that affects your ability to communicate BUT it doesn't affect intelligence. Stroke survivors remain mentally alert, though their speech may be jumbled, fragmented, or hard to understand.
