Marvin Harrison Jr.’s effort is becoming a serious problem in Arizona. Arizona just lost 31-7 to Seattle and this is about way more than targets. MHJ’s get-off, body language, laziness at the top of routes and lack of effort as a blocker can all become tells for a defense. There’s no deception when you can tell by his effort whether he’s involved in the play. He also continues to be a body catcher instead of consistently attacking the football with his hands. Through 2 games: 4 targets, 1 catch, 33 yards and a drop. And I’m tired of hearing this is just an “Arizona problem.” Trey McBride plays his ass off over the middle. Michael Wilson makes tough catches and blocks. Kendrick Bourne competes. Those are the football players I want. MHJ has way too much talent for EFFORT to be the issue. At some point, being the No. 4 pick doesn’t matter anymore. EFFORT DOESN’T TAKE TALENT. Trade him while there’s still value. #marvinharrisonjr #cardinals #nfl #arizonacardinals #nflnews
