This week's beehivemeals hero of the week is Stephanie Thompson 🐝

"My daughter and I would like to nominate Mrs. Thompson from Legacy Preparatory Academy! Mrs. Thompson was my daughter's 3rd grade teacher, and even though she is not in her class anymore, she has continued to be an important person in her life. For the past couple years, she has taken time outside of school to tutor her and help her with the things she struggles with. She truly cares about her students, even after they leave her classroom. She is patient, kind, encouraging, and passionate about helping kids learn and feel confident in themselves. My daughter loves tutoring with her because she empowers her when she doesn't understand something and always takes the time to help her until she does. She goes above and beyond what she has to do as a teacher, and we are so thankful that she continues to believe in her students and help them succeed. You can tell that teaching isn't just a job to Mrs. Thompson: She is the kind of teacher you remember forever."
