Just a lil guy and his mulberry branch 🪾

Beaver’s teeth never stop growing, so these ecosystem engineers gnaw on wood to wear them down and keep them filed. Their orange teeth have an iron-rich enamel coating which makes them extra tough and perfectly adapted to chew through wood and bark.

When it comes to trees, beavers love to chew on the soft, nutritious cambium layer just under the bark, and also love to cronch on leaves, twigs, buds, and tender shoots. If you ask Rogue, gnaw-thing beats a fresh mulberry branch.
