Stretching through the mountains of Connaught on the border of Mayo and Galway, Killary Fjord is one of the most dramatic and breathtaking landscapes on the entire island. ​

Deep, dark Atlantic water surrounded by the Mweelrea Mountains on one side and the Sheeffry Hills on the other gives it an otherworldly atmosphere that is something to behold in person. ​
