Tennis things that are actually worth your money 🎾

1️⃣ Coaching. This is your starting point and your base. It might be expensive, but even a few first sessions will show you what proper strokes look like. You don’t need a coach forever, but it sets you a good foundation.

2️⃣ Tennis shoes. No matter the surface, invest in proper tennis shoes. They keep you injury-free and comfortable, especially once you need to be more agile and fast 👟

3️⃣ Racket. Don’t buy the cheapest one on AliExpress or Alibaba. If you want a lower price, go for a used one and look for popular beginner to intermediate friendly models. Aim for comfort over power or control, and don’t go too heavy or too light. The more you play, the better you’ll feel what you need next 🧡

4️⃣ Court time. Probably obvious, but play as much as you can. Practice makes perfect, and repetition gives you everything. Even if you have to pay to rent a court, it’s always worth it 🔁
