📊 Who should control the AI shutdown switch?

AI systems are becoming more autonomous, and Microsoft says humans need a way to stop them if something goes wrong. 🛑

Brad Smith says the shutdown capability should exist at three levels: the company that creates the model, the cloud provider running it, and the systems controlling AI agents.

The idea is simple: if an AI can make decisions or take actions on its own, there should also be a reliable way for humans to interrupt it.
