This bride and groom celebrated their wedding at Olivia’s La Cala, right in the heart of La Cala de Mijas — a fantastic coastal setting for couples looking for a wedding venue with sea views, great food and a lively atmosphere.

An Olivias La Cala Mijas Wedding offers something a little different from the traditional Spanish finca. With its beachfront location, sunny terraces, Mediterranean views, stylish restaurant and bar areas, Olivia’s creates a modern setting where the ceremony, drinks, dinner and evening reception can all flow naturally into one celebration.

The sea-view terrace is particularly beautiful for wedding photographs, while the beachfront location gives us plenty of opportunities to step outside with the bride and groom for relaxed couple portraits around La Cala and the Mediterranean coastline.

Once the reception gets underway, Olivia’s really comes into its own. Great food, cocktails, music and live entertainment help create that relaxed Costa del Sol party atmosphere that works so well for destination weddings.

Being based close to La Cala de Mijas, I photograph and film weddings throughout Mijas, Marbella and the wider Costa del Sol, capturing everything from the preparations and ceremony through to sunset portraits and the evening party.
