La Cala Resort - Mijas Wedding | Golf Course Ceremony in Mijas

A beautiful outdoor wedding ceremony surrounded by the spectacular scenery of La Cala Resort in Mijas, Spain.

For this La Cala Resort - Mijas Wedding, the bride and groom chose to hold their ceremony at the resort, using the golf course setting to create a wonderful open-air backdrop for their vows. Surrounded by rolling green fairways, countryside and the hills of Mijas, it was a fantastic location for a relaxed destination wedding on the Costa del Sol.

One of the big attractions of choosing La Cala Resort for a wedding is the amount of space and variety available in one location. Couples can prepare at the resort, celebrate their ceremony outdoors and continue with drinks, dinner and the evening reception without guests having to travel between different venues.

The extensive grounds are also perfect for wedding photography and video. After the ceremony, the golf course and surrounding landscape provide plenty of opportunities for natural bride and groom portraits, bridal party photographs and those all-important golden-hour shots as the light begins to soften across the Mijas countryside.

With on-site accommodation, restaurants, spa facilities, golf courses and a choice of spaces for different parts of the celebration, La Cala Resort is particularly well suited to destination weddings where couples want their guests to enjoy more than just the wedding day itself.

If you are planning a La Cala Resort - Mijas Wedding, an outdoor ceremony overlooking the golf course is a beautiful way to make the most of the resort’s location and the Southern Spanish climate.
