Bride and Groom Preparations ready for Cortijo Maria Luisa Wedding

The wedding day begins long before the ceremony, and the bride and groom preparations are always full of anticipation, excitement and those small moments that help tell the complete story of the day.

For this Cortijo Maria Luisa Wedding in Nerja, the morning preparations gave us the perfect opportunity to capture both sides of the wedding day as everything started to come together. From the bride getting ready with her closest friends and family to the groom sharing relaxed moments before the ceremony, these early parts of the day are some of my favourite to photograph and film.

Cortijo Maria Luisa offers a beautiful setting for a destination wedding in Nerja, with its traditional Andalusian character, private surroundings, attractive gardens and versatile spaces for the different stages of the celebration. Having so much of the wedding day centred around one venue also allows the preparations to flow naturally into the ceremony and reception without losing the relaxed atmosphere.

As a wedding photographer and videographer based in Mijas, I always aim to capture preparations in a natural and unobtrusive way, focusing on genuine reactions, details and the excitement building before the couple finally see each other.
