Casa De La Era Wedding Marbella | Golden Hour Couple Photos Around the Gardens

Golden hour at Casa De La Era is one of my favourite times to take the bride and groom away for a relaxed couple photography session around the venue.

After their amphitheatre ceremony, we explored the gardens and surrounding areas of Casa De La Era as the late afternoon light softened across the property. This part of a Casa De La Era Wedding gives couples a chance to enjoy a few quieter moments together while creating natural, romantic photographs away from the pace of the main celebrations.

The gardens provide plenty of variety, with established greenery, rustic pathways, traditional Andalusian details and beautiful textures that work especially well in the warm golden-hour light. Rather than spending too long posing, I like to keep these sessions relaxed, allowing the couple to walk, talk and enjoy the surroundings while I capture both natural moments and a few more editorial-style portraits.

We also returned to the amphitheatre, which takes on a completely different atmosphere once the ceremony has finished. Without the guests and ceremony seating becoming the main focus, its architecture and tiered setting create a striking backdrop for wider bride and groom portraits.

One of the advantages of a Casa De La Era Wedding is the variety of photographic locations available without needing to leave the venue. From the gardens and terraces to the amphitheatre and traditional Spanish architecture, there are plenty of different settings within a short walk, meaning couples can spend more time enjoying their wedding and less time travelling elsewhere for photographs.

For couples planning a Marbella wedding, those final hours of warm Costa del Sol sunlight can produce some of the most beautiful and relaxed images of the entire day.
