Ouff... 😬⁣
⁣
Mercedes’ George Russell managed to hold off Red Bull’s Max Verstappen to claim his third victory of the season in a dramatic Azerbaijan Grand Prix. 🏎️⁣
⁣
The race saw six drivers retire after Williams’ Alex Albon made an error that brought out the safety car. The action was stopped again shortly after when Franco Colapinto locked up, taking out teammate Pierre Gasly and McLaren’s Lando Norris. 😱⁣
⁣
The lock-up is being heavily criticized by F1 fans and racers due to the nature of the crash. 👀⁣
⁣
As the race progressed, Russell came under immense pressure from Verstappen in the final laps. Verstappen made a push to steal the top spot, but Russell ultimately crossed the line just one-tenth ahead to hold on for the win. 🔥⁣
⁣
Verstappen finished second, while Isack Hadjar claimed third to secure a double podium for Red Bull. 🏆⁣
