What happens when you take a stranger on a road trip across America and show them the science happening in their own backyard?

We started in Austin, TX and hit the road, traveling through Cape Canaveral, Nashville, Princeton, Boston, Dayton, Chicago, Grand Forks, Park City, and LA.

In every city, we found a stranger and gave them an experience they probably never would have had otherwise: a chance to see, touch, and experience the science happening right where they live.

In Austin, that meant taking a complete stranger to a nuclear reactor.

This is the 50x50 road show, a journey across America to discover the people, places, and ideas pushing boundaries in every corner of the country.

As America celebrates 250 years, we’re taking a look at what we’ve accomplished, what’s happening right now, and what comes next.

Episode 1 is out now!
