Right after the officialmisterinternational 2026 Preliminaries, we caught up with 2025 1st Runner-Up and Prelims juror saadhneineh of Lebanon and asked what he was looking for in the next Mister International.

One thing he emphasized repeatedly: it’s NOT just about looks.

𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲. 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳.

Now that Mexico’s Andrés Briseño andresbrisen has the crown and this year’s results continue to fuel debate, Saad’s answer is worth another listen.

Did MI find the qualities it was looking for?
