One question. Four places it got asked this quarter. Four different answers.

A Slack thread on Tuesday. An RFP last quarter. An onboarding call. A customer email.

Nobody was careless. Each person answered from what they had in front of them, and what they had in front of them was different every time.

THE PROBLEM
There is no single approved answer. Four versions exist, all findable, none of them marked as the one that is right. Searching harder does not help, because searching harder returns all four.

THE FIX
One approved answer. A named person decides it is correct and signs off, with a date and the source it came from. That approved answer is then served the same way everywhere, to the people asking and to the AI systems answering on your behalf.

And it stays current. When the underlying policy changes, the answers that depend on it get flagged, so the approved answer moves with the business instead of quietly going stale in three places at once.

Three of those four answers are wrong. With one approved answer, that sentence cannot be written.
