Leonard Fournette and Emmanuel Acho’s latest beef began after Acho mocked Caleb Williams’ emotional reaction to suffering a non-contact hamstring injury during Chicago’s Week 2 loss to Minnesota.

After Williams was carted off in tears, Acho questioned why he was crying and fist-pumping if the injury wasn’t season-ending. Fournette defended the Bears quarterback, accused Acho of chasing clickbait and even challenged him to fight.

Acho responded by questioning Fournette’s intelligence and telling the retired running back to “pick up a book.” What began as criticism of Williams’ injury reaction has quickly turned into a personal war of words between the two former NFL players. Williams has since been diagnosed with a hamstring injury and is considered week-to-week.
