💜 How many women spent years thinking they were “bad at life”… when actually their brain was working differently?

ADHD in women can be easy to miss.

It doesn’t always look like obvious hyperactivity.

Sometimes it looks like:

✨ daydreaming
✨ forgetting things constantly
✨ having 47 tabs open in your brain
✨ over-preparing so nobody notices you’re struggling
✨ needing endless lists, reminders and alarms
✨ appearing organised while feeling completely overwhelmed underneath it all

And for some women, adulthood — especially the sheer mental load of work, family, caring and midlife changes — is when those old coping strategies stop feeling quite so manageable.

That can be the moment everything suddenly makes sense.

At Herbs on the Hill, we talk a lot about busy minds, sensory comfort and low-demand little rituals because real life is rarely neat and tidy. 🌿

Aromatherapy doesn’t treat ADHD — but a familiar scent, a roll-on in your bag, a quiet shower or a tiny moment that belongs to you can still become part of the way you care for yourself.

💬 Were you diagnosed — or did you first recognise your ADHD — as an adult?

Tell us below. I think a LOT of women are going to recognise themselves in this one.

And if your brain regularly has too many tabs open, follow Herbs on the Hill. You’re very welcome here. 💜
