Oh yea, we are doing our best to build a sustainable homestead in central Texas raising pigs, chickens, ducks, and a family milk cow! See the full design of our off-grid solar setup and how we are transitioning our homestead to independent power. We are walking you through the entire technical plan for our new power system. From the 200-amp panel to the battery units, we show exactly what equipment we chose and why it fits our needs for a sustainable homestead energy solution. This guide covers the logistics of our solar installation, including the bifacial panels and ground mounts needed to get up and running. Whether you are planning your own project or just curious about renewable energy, we share the reality of building this setup from the ground up.
