I know NDD was yesterday but as a girl mom we celebrate every day! 🎉❤️ I didn’t get my daughters the same way, but God knew I needed them both! One grew under my heart, and one grew into it. Different stories. Different journeys. Same mama. Same love. 🫶🏾❤️ @Zari🍒 made me a mother. She introduced me to a version of myself I had never known before. And @Karleigh N’diaye reminded me that motherhood isn’t always about who you give birth to. Sometimes God grows your family in ways you never could’ve planned for yourself. And somehow, while I was busy raising them, loving them, worrying about them, praying over them, fussing at them 😂 and trying to teach them how to become good women…they were helping shape the woman I was becoming too. Now I get to look at them as grown women and think…Wow. I get to be THEIR mama. 🥹 I hope I’ve made them as proud of me as I am of them. #NationalDaughtersDay #Motherhood #RaisingCultures
