Ever heard of a Jack Horner Pie? It’s not an actual pie but it does offer something sweet. Back in the early days of Halloween they would make these elaborate centerpieces out of crêpe paper and filled them with party favors for adults and kids to enjoy throughout the evening. Favors would include candy, fortunes, noisemakers and poems. The Bogie Book has many variations. His tradition wasn’t limited to Halloween, though, in other editions of this book they would have one for every holiday. Would you make one of these for your Halloween soirée? 🎃
