Getting recruited is one thing. Finding the right fit is another. 👀🥎 For Recruit Week presented by sports_recruits, coaches and recruiting experts break down what athletes should really consider when building their college list.

It goes beyond the softball program. Think about the full picture:
⭐ Athletic fit
📚 Academic fit
💰 Financial fit
📍 Geographical fit
🤝 Social fit

One college coach put it simply: Is the school your fit? Are the coaches your fit? Is the team your fit?

And you don’t have to navigate the recruiting process alone. Alliance members have access to recruiting support throughout their journey — including free SportsRecruits profiles for athletes 13+, recruiting education and resources inside the Alliance Academy, player profiles that connect directly to SportsRecruits, exposure opportunities at Alliance events and camps, and technology like EventBeacon that helps college coaches access athlete information at national events.

The goal isn’t just to get recruited. It’s to find the place where you can thrive on the field, in the classroom, and beyond.
