Trump sued a pollster for publishing a poll he didn't like. A judge just called that lawsuit exactly what it was, unconstitutional.

An Iowa court dismissed Trump's case against J. Ann Selzer and the Des Moines Register over a 2024 poll showing Harris ahead, ruling the poll was protected First Amendment speech and blocking Trump from refiling. The judge didn't hold back, saying the suit tried to turn protected speech into legal liability.

This is just one front in a much bigger fight. Trump is also suing CBS over a 60 Minutes interview and battling reporters he banned from the White House altogether.
