School is back. Our commitment to Detroit’s youth never left.

Under Mayor Mary Sheffield’s leadership and in partnership with Detroit’s school districts, Youth and Education remains a top priority.

🚌 Ride to Rise continues through the 2026–27 school year, providing free DDOT rides for Detroit’s K–12 students, with $1 million in state funding supporting the program.

Because transportation should never stand between a student and their opportunity to learn, grow and succeed.

School is in. The work continues. 📚🚌
