Mahjong night is back, and if you’re new here, let me introduce everyone.

GNO Sacramento is a social club for women in our city. I started it because making friends as an adult is genuinely hard, and nobody tells you that. Every month we put on something worth leaving the house for, and you can always come alone. Most people do.

collectivesparrows is a mahjong community that teaches the game and builds community around the table. We partnered with them because mahjong is one of those things people are curious about but never learn, and having actual teachers in the room means you walk out knowing how to play instead of nodding along. They bring the tiles, the mats, the racks, and a table guide for every table.

almawinebarshop is a wine bar and bottle shop here in Sacramento, and we partnered with them because the room feels like someone’s actually taking care of you. Drinks are available at the bar, and they let us take the whole space over for the night.

So here’s the night: you show up, you get taught, you play, and there are prizes going out throughout the evening. You’ll be seated with women you haven’t met yet, because that’s the entire point.

21+. Come solo or bring a friend. Tickets in bio.
