Two massive artworks are taking over Toronto’s waterfront this weekend

For Nuit Blanche Toronto on October 3, 🇪🇺 the Delegation of the European Union to Canada (EUinCanada), together with the Global Centre for Climate Action at OCAD University (ocaduniversity), will transform the Canada Malting Silos with two immersive large-scale projection artworks.

🇨🇦 Melting Temporalities — World Premiere
Canadian artists Claire Brunet and Johnny Ranger turn the silos into a monumental glacier that fractures before your eyes, revealing forests, waterways, geological formations and microscopic life.

🇪🇺 The Light — Canadian Premiere
Irish artist Paul Murnaghan takes viewers from the deep ocean to the subterranean forest floor in an immersive journey through water, land and light — filmed entirely in natural light.
Created across borders, the two works bring Canadian and European perspectives together around climate, nature and our shared future.

📸 Plus, stop by the European Union’s free onsite Photo Booth and take home a photo from your Nuit Blanche night.
