We still get chills thinking about this🐐 It was such an honor to meet Rickey Henderson at Oakland’s final series 2 years ago💚💛 Rickey passed away less than 3 months after this and the entire sports world is going to miss him forever⚾️ I’m so glad he was able to be around the 2024 A’s so those guys can carry his legacy on to the next generation🦾 Where do we even start with how incredible Rickey was as a player😅 He holds MLB records with 1,406 career stolen bases, 2,295 career runs, and 130 stolen bases in a single single season🤯 Rickey was AL MVP in 1990, he’s a 10x All-Star, 2x World Champ, and the list keeps going on and on🐐 He played in MLB with a bunch of different teams from 1979 to 2003 and is most remembered for his success with his hometown Oakland Athletics💚💯RIP Rickey🙏🏼 #oakland #oaklandathletics #baseball #cooperstown #mlb
