James' seminal album, Laid, was released on 27 September 1993 and became one of the Manchester band's most defining moments. Brian Eno, musician, composer, and Roxy Music alumni, produced the record, fulfilling something of dream for James. Laid's title track was the second song to be released from the album, following Sometimes (Lester Piggott). For more on Laid, head to radiox.co.uk
