The 2027 NBA Draft is still a long way away. But some prospects make it impossible to wait. Quentin Coleman is one of them.

In this video Corey, Albert, and Owen from No Ceilings give you an early and in-depth look at one of the most intriguing young prospects in the 2027 NBA Draft class — breaking down exactly why Quentin Coleman's tools, skill level, and overall profile could make him the next Keaton Wagler.

With Coleman headed to Illinois for his freshman season, now is the perfect time to get ahead of the mainstream draft conversation and examine what makes him such an exciting prospect. Making the full case for why Coleman is a player worth watching closely before the rest of the basketball world catches up.

In this breakdown we go deep on Coleman's complete scouting profile — the physical tools and athleticism that immediately stand out, the offensive game and skill level that could separate him from his peers, the defensive upside that gives him two-way potential, the early NBA comparisons that help paint the picture of what his ceiling could look like, and the specific things we're watching for during his freshman season at Illinois that could determine just how high Coleman climbs on early 2027 draft boards.

Could Quentin Coleman be the next Keaton Wagler?

Yes, it's early. But that's exactly why we're watching. And if Coleman can translate the flashes we've seen into consistent production at Illinois, the NBA Draft conversation could come a lot sooner than people expect.
