The reveal is finally here!! We’re transforming Ava Jules’ empty gray room into the ultimate glam/get-ready/nursery room?!

Ava and Micah help us kick things off before leaving for their bachelor/bachelorette trip, which gives us just a few days to pull the whole thing together. We’re talking wallpaper, tons of molding, vintage Facebook Marketplace finds, a custom vanity, velvet curtains, lighting, DIYs… and then the $700 mirror we shipped all the way to Hawaii arrives completely shattered. 😭 So naturally, we have to come up with a totally new plan at the last possible second.

And somehow, after all the chaos, it turns into one of our favorite rooms ever. Ava has NO idea what it looks like until she walks in for the reveal and her reaction says everything. Plus, Micah created a custom piece of art for the room with a very sweet meaning tied to their story and their future family.

And subscribe because we’re not done with Ava’s house yet — her home office reveal is next. 👀 http://bit.ly/mrkateyoutube

Huge thank you to Ava Jules + Micah for trusting us with your home 💕
