## Caption

Ukrainian photographer Yevgeniy Kotenko spent roughly 10 years photographing the same park bench outside his parents’ apartment window in Kyiv. He never planned it as a formal project. He simply looked out the kitchen window and started shooting.

The series, titled “On the Bench,” captured couples, workers, children, and strangers over a full decade of ordinary life in one small corner of the city.
