📅 2022
🏆 In the Summer of 2022, Brian Gruber and Phil Gunther hung the Inglorious Bagels shingle outside their flagship location in Carlsbad, CA after months of painstaking testing and development. Their North Star was delivering an authentic bagel experience – from the satisfying first bite crunch to perfectly textured dough combined with a both familiar and uniquely delicious taste – to Southern California. Our proprietary process starts with our passion to be the best followed by our acclaimed dough recipe which is the catalyst for taste and includes a boil in our top-secret water formulation that was designed to deliver an amazing culinary experience. 4 years later, Inglorious Bagels serves thousands of bagel lovers, foodies, and hungry families each month – offering our award-winning bagels with schmears, as sandwiches, and paired with quality coffee and smoothies. Inglorious Bagels is in the process of opening two additional locations in San Diego County by the Spring of 2027.

The New York BagelFest presented by kingarthurbaking returns to citifield on Sunday, November 15th. Tickets are now on sale at bagelfest.com 🎟
