Is overconsumption becoming a problem?⬇️

Maybe it’s just me. I feel like when I choose to research a topic via social media… I tend to get a bit overwhelmed because there are so many different answers to the same problem I’m facing. Which in turn, tends to make me feel a bit, overwhelmed and stop completely.

I don’t know if that necessarily happens with young catchers on social media, but I just wanted to make this video because there is starting to be a lot of catching content out there. 

Now, I’m not saying my content is the best catching content out there (even though I think it’s pretty good haha) or that you should only watch my videos. I think different perspectives are important, but when it comes to Training, you need to give a certain skill time actually to develop and grow so you can make it repeatable. If you’re constantly changing your technique in your style, I think it’s actually prohibiting your growth as a catcher in the position. 

So learn from social media, but please don’t try to train based only on the videos you see on social media. I have a lot of conversations with Catchers in my DM’s. When I ask them how they train, they tell me they watch my videos and train based on that. Thank you for watching my videos and trying to learn and apply that, but at the end of the day, in my videos, I don’t really provide a structure of training for you to follow, so I don’t think watching my videos alone is going to rapidly excel you to the next level, just being completely honest. Social media is a tool. Continue to research and learn, but I genuinely believe you need to get on a structured training plan, whether that’s through me, someone else, or if you attempt to create it on your own.
