SAVE THIS for your State Fair of Texas trip 🤠🎡

Opening weekend is officially here, so here’s a little guide to some of what I ate + did at the fair! (SO easy to share all this with another person or 2) statefairoftx

WHAT I ATE:

🍰 Chick N Funnel — 12 coupons | Granny’s Funnel Cake on Coliseum Dr.
🍗 Turkey Leg — 24 coupons dickels_meats

And don’t make the mistake of thinking you have to spend tickets the entire time, there are 100+ FREE daily activities included with your admission!

A few FREE things worth adding to your day:
🐏 Livestock Birthing Barn — see and learn about the incubation + birthing process of livestock; open daily from 10 AM–7 PM.
🛻 RAM RHO Thrill Ride — an off road ride along experience near Gate 5.
🎨 Creative Arts Building — see this year’s ribbon-winning arts, crafts & culinary creations.
👨🏽‍🍳 FREE cooking demos + samples in the Creative Arts Building daily at 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM & 3:30 PM.
🐐 Oak Farms Dairy Petting Zoo
🦖 Dinosaurs at the Lagoon
🐕 All-Star Dog Stunt Show
🚘 Texas Auto Show + Chevrolet Ride & Drive
🎭 World of Magic + other daily entertainment
🎶 100+ live music performances throughout
✨ Starlight Parade nightly at 7 PM
🎆 Illumination Sensation with fireworks, dancers & acrobats nightly at 7:45 PM.

And this STILL isn’t everything, there was so much happening that I couldn’t fit it all into one video! Check the daily schedule before you go because shows and activities happen throughout the day.
