One year ago today, Elias was called back to Heaven. 🤍
It’s hard to believe that an entire year has passed. This past year has been filled with so many emotions heartache, sadness, moments of disbelief, and days when simply trying to navigate life without him felt incredibly difficult. Losing someone you love changes you, and learning how to move forward while carrying that loss has been a journey we never imagined we would have to take.
There have been so many moments when we have wished we could hear his voice, see his smile, laugh with him, or simply have him here with us. We miss the little things, the big things, and everything in between. We miss the person he was and the love, laughter, and memories he brought into our lives.
Today, we want to celebrate ,Elias, the life he lived, the memories he gave us, the people he loved, and all the things that made him who he was.
So today, we will celebrate him by doing some of the things he loved to do, sharing stories, laughing, remembering, and keeping his memory alive. We will talk about him, think about him, and hold close all of the memories that will forever be a part of us.
Although he is no longer here for us to hug or make new memories with, his life continues to live on through the people who loved him.
Today we celebrate you, Elias. We remember you. We miss you. We love you. And we will continue carrying you with us, always.
