Dévoilé dans la sélection Un Certain Regard à #Cannes2026, Mémoire de fille est l’adaptation du livre éponyme d’Annie Ernaux. La caméra se place au plus près de l’écrivaine, incarnée par Tess Barthélemy, pour faire revivre ses 17 ans et cet été 1958, celui de sa première fois avec un homme, dont elle gardera longtemps les stigmates.
Un récit contemporain et universel qui, comme dans le court métrage Moi aussi (2024), jette un éclairage salutaire sur les violences faites aux femmes.

Unveiled in the Un Certain Regard section at #Cannes2026, Mémoire de fille is an adaptation of Annie Ernaux’s book of the same name. The camera stays close to the writer, played by Tess Barthélemy, bringing us back to her 17-year-old self and to the summer of 1958, when she had her first sexual experience with a man — an experience whose scars would stay with her for years to come.
A contemporary and universal story which, like her short film Moi aussi (2024), sheds a vital light on violence against women.
