Many have asked about how I would balance a logo that has a lowercase type direction.

so I dug into my archives and found this beauty for Babybreez

You are working with a lot more negative space with a lower case logotype, so you have to optically balance your design and take more care ‘outside the grid’

As the logotype and logo mark were circular I needed to find a way to balance the mark to the ascending and descending elements within the type.

By nudging the mark up a tad it allows the whole design to feel more cohesive.
