Alpen says it is partnering with Circle to bring USDC and CCTP to Bitcoin.

The goal:
→ Let BTC holders borrow, lend, earn, and trade using dollar stablecoin liquidity without leaving Bitcoin behind.

That is the key line.

Without leaving Bitcoin behind.

Alpen says Circle-issued USDC will support lending and trading applications built around native BTC, while CCTP connects Alpen to other supported networks without using a wrapped version of USDC.

In other words 👉 regulated dollar liquidity is moving closer to Bitcoin-native finance.
