You cannot adapt your way out of a crisis that oil and gas companies are still making worse every day.⁣
⁣
Floods, extreme heat and fires have taken countless lives in recent months. Cooling centres, flood defences and emergency services can save lives, but adaptation alone will not stop the next disaster. ⁣
⁣
We must make polluters pay for the damage they cause and phase out the fossil fuels driving this chaos.⁣
⁣
Modern energy systems based on renewables are absolutely possible. Don’t let oil and gas execs and complicit politicians tell you otherwise. Renewables are the path to real security and stability, away from fossil-fuel crises and price shocks.⁣
