A Bellport woman has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for sex trafficking a 14-year-old Patchogue girl while the teen was missing for 25 days.

Jacquelyn Comiskey, 54, pleaded guilty in August to child sex trafficking, promoting prostitution and endangering the welfare of a child.

Prosecutors said she was one of several defendants who participated in the abuse of the girl before she was found on a dilapidated yacht.

The case is part of a much larger investigation involving 23 people charged with crimes against the girl dating back to 2023.
