Savers is continuing its Long Island expansion.

The thrift chain has opened its eighth location on Long Island, taking over a nearly 23,000-square-foot former Big Lots space in Carle Place.

The expansion comes as Savers sees growing demand from shoppers across income levels, including more higher-income customers looking for bargains.
