#Falcons are signing DT Gervon Dexter to a 4-year, $78M extension with $46.5M guaranteed.
per adamschefter.

Atlanta traded CB Clark Phillips III and a 5th-round pick to Chicago for Dexter in August, and just one month later, the Falcons have locked him up long-term.

Through his first 3 games in Atlanta, Dexter ranks 8th in the NFL in QB pressure rate among players with at least 50 pass-rush snaps, at 20.5%.

The 24-year-old recorded 11 sacks over his final 2 seasons in Chicago before Atlanta traded for him.
