Congratulations to Thunder Lacrosse Club ⚡️2028 FOGO Hayes Kennedy on his commitment to UMBC! 🐾

Hayes becomes the 8th Thunder commitment in the Class of 2028!

A true dual-sport athlete at The Lovett School, Hayes is a 2x Georgia State Wrestling Champion who brings that same toughness, leverage, competitiveness, and relentless mindset to the faceoff X.

A tough, hard-nosed grinder, Hayes knows how to win possessions. His quick hands, patience at the clamp, ability to vary his exits, and willingness to battle through the scrum make him a constant threat at the dot. He has a knack for getting a piece of the ball, creating space, and using his speed and strength to win the ground ball and spark transition.

Hayes may not be the biggest FOGO on the field, but he makes up for it with skill, technique, toughness, IQ, and an unmatched compete level. He is the type of player who finds a way to win the possession when it matters most.

We are incredibly proud of Hayes and the entire Kennedy family and can’t wait to watch him continue his journey in Baltimore!
