When we asked TRJ’s audience asking who their favorite team-roping ladies were, there was one name that was frequently brought up…

𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗵𝗹 is one of the winningest female heelers to ever do it, including big-time wins at the Bob Feist Invitational All-Girl, Wildfire Ladies Only, and WPRA Finals.

When you ask some of the great female headers (like Lari Dee Guy and Beverly Robbins) who their pick is to clean the runs up for them, their list will have Annette on it every. single. time.

She has paved the way for the girls getting the flag dropped at some of the biggest ropings in the world on the heel side, and continues to win like she just did at the 2026 @riataofficial Championships with Tauna Alcorn in the #11.5 (4th for $18,600).

Our friends at @manentailequine are helping us celebrate her and so many others during #WomenInRodeo month in September, head to the link in our bio for our Women in Rodeo hub where you can find stories, facts, and the goods about all things All-Girl team roping.
