SEC Co-Offensive Players of the Week – Auburn’s Belle Patrick, a junior opposite hitter from Cary, N.C., tallied a career-high 29 kills in Friday’s win at Arkansas. Patrick’s kill total is the most for a five-set match in conference play and ties for the second-highest mark in all matches this season. She finished the match with nine digs, two aces, one block and one assist.

Georgia’s Bianna Muoneke, a senior outside hitter from Cypress, Texas, tied her season best with 27 kills in Georgia’s SEC-opening win against South Carolina. Muoneke hit .417 in the fourth set to force a decisive fifth set, where she hit .667 with six kills on nine attempts and no errors. Her 27 kills tied for seventh in kills in a five-set match in Georgia rally scoring history.

SEC Defensive Player of the Week – Kentucky’s Lizzie Carr, a fifth-year middle blocker from West Chester, Pa., registered 12 total blocks to help the Wildcats open SEC play with a pair of victories. In Wednesday’s match at Vanderbilt, Carr recorded a match-high seven blocks. She followed that with five blocks in Sunday’s sweep over No. 7 Texas. Carr also hit .467 for the week with two eight-kill matches for the Wildcats.

SEC Setter of the Week – Kentucky’s Kassie O’Brien, a sophomore setter from Katy, Texas, helped the Wildcats to a .362 team hitting percentage as she averaged 13.00 assists per set over two wins to open the SEC slate. O’Brien posted her third 50+ assists match of the season with 54 at Vanderbilt Wednesday night. She steered the UK offense in Sunday’s win over No. 7 Texas with 37 assists. On the week, O’Brien also contributed 11 digs, seven blocks, four kills and one ace.

SEC Freshman of the Week – Texas A&M’s Gabi Rodriguez, a libero from McKinney, Texas, averaged 4.17 digs per set over two wins this past week for the Aggies. Rodriguez opened the week with 14 digs, four assists and one ace in the sweep over Rice on Tuesday. In Sunday’s sweep against South Carolina, she added 11 digs and five assists in her SEC debut.
