This guy connected GPT-6 Astra to a wearable on his spine and turned it into a real-time physical therapy experiment for back pain. 💀

After years of dealing with chronic back pain, Rohan Kotecha created a wearable called Curv. The sensor strip sits along the spine and monitors how different parts of the spine move throughout the day, including range of motion, stiffness, and movement speed.

He then connected the live sensor data to GPT-6 Astra alongside a detailed 3D biomechanical model.

As he bends and moves, the model updates in real time to show how movement changes across muscles such as the multifidus and rectus abdominis. Instead of relying only on generic exercises, the goal is to better understand individual movement patterns and eventually create more personalized physical therapy.

The interesting part is how everything works together.

Wearable sensors capture the body data.
A 3D model visualizes the movement.
AI helps analyze what is happening.

Kotecha believes technology like this could eventually make highly personalized healthcare more accessible. It is still an experimental approach, not a replacement for professional diagnosis or treatment, but it offers a glimpse of what could happen when AI, wearables, biomechanics, and real-time health data come together.

Personalized physical therapy could look very different in the AI era. 🤖
