There’s something special about creating images with no agenda other than chasing good light and a great location.

The day before filming our short film For Love, I met up with jamesmaslow at a beautiful ranch for an impromptu photo shoot. Shot entirely on my leicacamerausa , surrounded by open fields, horses, and endless skies, it felt like stepping into another time.

James brought an effortless energy to every frame, and the ranch gave us the perfect backdrop for a series of images that feel both cinematic and authentic.

Moments like these remind me why I fell in love with photography in the first place—capturing real people, real moments, and turning them into something timeless.

Here are a few of my favorite frames from our day on the ranch.
