For as long as I can remember, this has been one of my dream cameras.

The Leica M3 leica_camera

Introduced in 1954, the M3 changed photography forever. It was the first Leica M camera, introducing the legendary M-Mount system that photographers still use more than 70 years later. Its bright combined rangefinder/viewfinder, rapid film advance lever, and precision engineering made it a favorite of photojournalists, street photographers, and artists around the world. More than 220,000 were produced, and many still consider it one of the greatest cameras ever made. (Leica Camera)

There’s something special about holding a piece of photographic history in your hands. No menus. No distractions. Just light, composition, and the moment.

After years of wanting one, I finally have my Leica M3, and I can’t wait to put some film through it and create images with a camera that helped shape the history of photography.

What film stock should I load first? 📸
