Three years ago, Team Europe lifted the Ryder Cup in Rome.

But it all began with a first tee shot.

One shot that transformed eight years of dreams, work, courage and vision into reality.

For the first time in history, the Ryder Cup had come to Italy — to Marco Simone, in Rome.

We remember the silence, the roar and the feeling that something extraordinary had begun.

271,191 people from 100 countries would walk these fairways.
Millions around the world would see Rome and Italy.

And then came that final day.
The final putts.
The celebrations.
The Ryder Cup in European hands.

Three years later, that emotion remains.
